Junior Learn to Row

Learn to Row (LTR) for Juniors is designed for those age 13–18 with little or no rowing experience who would like to learn the basics of sculling. Participants learn about safety, boat parts and terms, and the physical fitness relevant to rowing. Participants start out learning the correct form on a rowing machine (ashore), then move into 8x+ (8 rowers with a coxswain,) 4x (4 rowers with or without a cox) or 2x sculling shells.  At least one experienced RRC Coach in a launch (motorboat) oversees practices to motivate and advise on technique.

Junior LTR includes Junior membership for first-time rowers.

Junior Experienced

Junior Experienced Rowing is designed for those age 13–18 who have completed a Learn to Row program and who wish to work with a Coach to advance their skills.
